Fire engine red jacket is cropped at the hips with vented back, fully lined with great red & "gold" six button detail: one at either faux flap breast pocket, one at either sleeve, and two which are functional at the front closure.
Suggested modern size Medium (U.S. 8- 10), but as always with vintage, go by the actual measurements ~ note that it's larger than the mannequin, which distorts its appearance, but there's nothing wrong with its structure ~
Shoulder-to-shoulder: 18" (shoulder padding) Bust: 36" (leave room for whatever is worn underneath) Waist: 34" Hips: 32 " (measured at lower hem) Sleeves: 22" Length: 17"
Details: True vintage in very good condition. Fabric is a nice linen/rayon blend, fully lined in matching red. Constructed of a nubby looser weave with very minimal issues that may be original, but we mention them in the interest of full disclosure: two minor irregularities, one at right rear shoulder & another in back near armhole. Minor wear & pilling to fabric of sleeves, more to ends & insides of sleeves closest to the body. Pindot black ink mark to left sleeve, barely noticeable. Fabric content: 85% rayon, 15% linen, made in USA. Arrives dry cleaned & mended, ready to wear.
