'Round about 1947, a rage for Western themes caught fire ~ some say it's still roaring! Unusual Anson 12 karat gold filled cufflinks in the shape of trapezoids with engraved Western motifs on both cuffs have just the right amount of wear to give them great vintage visual character. They're welded, with interesting, intricate detailing: thin engraved bands horizontally, with horizontal black enameled western motifs.
Measurements: 1" at the widest point; 3/4" at narrowest; 1/2" side
Condition: Rated "Good to Very Good" due to minor scarring (particularly to one cuff, see second photo cuff on left), minor finish loss, and some loss of the black enameling to the Western design motifs on the faces ~ not a lot, but just enough to give them great vintage character.
The shanks are marked "Anson Pat.Pend" in block script ~ which dates them to the 1940's~ on one side, and bear the markings for 12 kt. gold fill on the other: 1/2012KGF," also in block script.
Will arrive packaged in a cotton-filled Kraft gift box, dimensions 3" L x 3" W x 1" Deep.
